Music for the Community

Since I was five years old I have been taking music lessons, first for piano and later adding the saxophone. I play in 3 bands, one of which is focused on Jazz. I have had many great experiences being a part of these groups at music competitions and on tour. Music has always held a very special and fun place in my life.  

I have had this idea of starting a musical group to provide local community entertainment for a few years now. I believe it is very important that music, especially live music is shared with as many people as possible. 

I founded JazzCan in 2018 and invited five of my best musician friends to join me in the Collective. The group focuses on providing musical entertainment to members of the local community. This includes shows for our senior citizens at retirement homes as well as performing at community events. Using our talent for good and bringing musical joy to people is so much fun and 

rewarding.
